How to find the missing piece of the puzzle

  • 1. Identify the puzzle by means of its registration number. This number consists of eleven digits which you will find over a red background on one of the box sides with the following format: _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ This registration number consists of two parts. The first five numbers are the puzzle�s product reference number and the second 6 numbers indicate the puzzle�s edition. This number is required in order to replace lost pieces.
  • 2. Identify the missing piece or pieces. Look at the image straight on and count the number of pieces from left to right to find the piece in column a. Next, count down the number of pieces from top to bottom for that same piece in row b. Include your results in the section, �missing piece positions,� in the following form.

    The required data are collected through the website and stored in the file named “CONSUMERS”, owned by EDUCA BORRAS S.A.U. This file has been registered with the Spanish data protection agency and complies with the security measures required under Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Royal Decree 1720/2007, of 21 December, approving the development regulation of the Data Protection Act (Ley Orgánica de protección de datos).

    Users may exercise their rights to access, rectify, cancel or oppose the handling of their data by contacting the main headquarters at c/ Osona, 1, 08192, Sant Quirze del Vallès, Barcelona, Spain. All communications sent by Users must clearly contain a clear signed and dated request from the requestor, the first name and last name of the affected party, a photocopy of their National ID card/passport and an address for notification purposes.

    The following terms and conditions are applicable to the Educa Borras SAU missing piece service:

    Requests for missing pieces may only be submitted using the appropriate form in the customer service section on www.educaborras.com.

    To request a missing piece you must complete the registration form, specify the coordinates for the pieces and identify the puzzle using the registration number.

    This number consists of 11 digits which appear on one of the sides of the box with the following format: _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ This registration number consists of two parts. The first five numbers are the puzzle's product reference number and the second six numbers indicate the puzzle's edition. This number is mandatory to replace missing pieces.

    Once your request has been received correctly you'll receive an email with a reference number so you can check the status of your request on the customer service section of our website www.educaborras.com.

    The confirmation email will include the approximate delivery date.

    Requests for missing pieces are processed by order of receipt.

    The missing piece service is available for the following puzzles:

    Editions of puzzles of 500 or more pieces manufactured up until 31/12/16 with the missing piece identification number on the side of the box or on the sheet included inside boxes of large puzzles.

    Editions of puzzles of 3,000 or more pieces manufactured after 1/1/17 with the missing piece identification number on the side of the box or on the sheet included inside boxes of large puzzles.

    There is a limited number of replacement pieces for each puzzle included in the missing pieces service in each of its editions. Once stocks have finished it will not be possible to replace any missing pieces.

    Missing pieces will be sent by ordinary mail. Educa Borras SAU shall not be held responsible for any losses, delays or mistakes caused by the mail service of each country, or any incorrect or incomplete addresses or any other reasons which may affect the normal operation of this service.

    The missing piece service is free and available worldwide.
